Borneo Orang utan Tour package 3 days 2 nights
Orang
utan tour package starting point is from Kumai
boat stage, where we will be boarding on the
boat called " Klotok ", the traditional
wooden boat 12m long and 2.5m wide. It take
you slow moving boat ride up the tributaries
of the Sekoyer river getting closer to the
home of Orangutans. As the narrow river, you
cruise past nipah palm mangrove and it is
not unusual to spot fresh water crocodile.
Along the way, about 1 hours up the river,
families of Proboscis Monkey ( Nasalis
lavartus) treated you to spectacle
acrobatics. Following the sun goes down,
some more groups of long noses monkeys &
other creatures easy to see in their love
river bank. They are constant source of
entertainment.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 01 Pangkalan Bun Kumai Port
National Park
Upon arrival in Pangkalan Bun airport, you
will be picked
 up by our local staff and
take you to kumai port by car for 20 minutes
and then proceed to National Park Tanjung
Puting area by Boat for 2 hours. The boat is
wooden river boat for tourist specialist.
Its 12m by 2,5m with a roof and called by
Klotok, which forms the upper deck, you can
view the natural rainforest. We will slowly
explore the quite river by Klotok to observe
wild animals and natural environment along
the river sides. Cabin with Simple mattress,
pillow, meals, bottled mineral water,
mosquito net, kitchen and simple toilet are
available on Boat. You can choose to take
dinner and stay over night on Boat or at
Rimba Lodge.
 Day 02 Boat/Lodge Pondok Tangguy Camp
Leakey
After breakfast, we will travel up the river
for 2 hours boating to Camp Leaky where the
older orangutans are reintroduced into the
rain forest and before arrive in Camp Leaky,
we will stop in Pondok Tanggui to see
feeding time at 09:00 then proceed to Camp
Leaky. After lunch on Boat you have
opportunity to take small trek before see
feeding time in Camp Leaky area at 14:00.
Enjoy the river safari when you are on way
back to stay over night on boat or at Lodge.
Day 03 Boat/Lodge Kumai Port Pangkalan
Bun airport
After breakfast, we will transfer you to
Kumai port by Klotok about 2 hours then take
car to Pangkalan Bun airport to catch flight
for your next destination.
For competitive price and to get much more
opportunity to see wildlife in this area you
can stay over night on boat. The boat is
river wooden boat and called by Klotok. Its
12m by 2,5m and there is toilet, cabin with
clean mattress, on upper deck you can enjoy
natural rainforest view and in the morning
you will fell the sweetest greeting from any
kind of birds and other wild animals such as
macaques, proboscis monkeys, orangutans
while you enjoy breakfast with coffee or
tea.
