Borneo Orangutan Tour package 4 days 3 nights
Many of our past clients call this is a
"magical trip". The tour will take you to meet one
of the human's closest living relatives in
animal kingdoms: Orangutan (pongo pygmaeus
pygmaeus sp.) living free at their natural
home at Camp Leakey, Tanjung Harapan and
Pondok Tanguy stations inside the misty rain
forest surrounded by proboscis monkeys,
macaques, gibbons, birds including the giant
horn bills and other exotic flora and fauna.
You will explore the quit river on a
traditional boat ( "African Queen" river
boat style) and having some short walk
around the stations.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 01 Pangkalan Bun Kumai Port Tanjung
Puting National Park
Upon arrival in Pangkalan Bun airport, you
will be picked u p by our local staff and
take you to kumai port by car for 20
minutes, then directly to National Park
Tanjung Puting area by Boat for 2 hours. The
boat is traditional wooden river boat for
tourist specialist. Its 12m by 2,5m with a
roof and called by Klotok, which forms the
upper deck, you can view the natural
rainforest. We will slowly explore the quite
river by Klotok to observe wild animals
along the river sides. Cabin with simple
mattress, pillow, meals, bottled mineral
water, mosquito net, kitchen and toilet are
available on Boat. You can choose to take
dinner and stay over night on Boat or at
Rimba Lodge.
 Day 02 Boat/Rimba Lodge Camp Leaky
Proboscis Monkeys Tours
After breakfast, we will travel up the river
for morning river safari for 2 hours boating
to Camp Leaky where the older orangutans are
reintroduced into the rainforest. Mind
refreshing and learn more about river
ecology, visit orang-utan education centre
and see feeding time in Camp Leaky at 14:00
afterward back to observe prosboscis monkeys
on the tress along river sides. Take dinner
and over night at Lodge or on Boat
Day 03 Boat/Rimba Lodge Pondok Tanggui
Fireflies Tours
After breakfast, we will travel up the river
to enjoy morning breeze and view natural
rainforest then join in morning orang-utan
feeding centre in Pondok tanggui at 09:00,
trekking on loop trail. On The way back we
will stop in Pesalat reforest station to
learn and support the peoples do reforest
activities then visit Traditional Village of
Tanjung Harapan and join in other feeding
time in Tanjung Harapan Center at 15:00.
Back to take dinner and stay over night at
Lodge or on Boat. ( If good weather you can
enjoy Fireflies tours and take dinner on
Boat)
Day 04 Boat/Rimba Lodge Kumai Port
Pangkalan Bun
After breakfast, we will travel down the
river by boat to escort you to Kumai port
then proceed to Pangkalan Bun airport by car
to catch your flight for your next
destination.

opportunity to see wildlife in this area you
can stay over night on boat. The boat is
river wooden boat and called by Klotok. Its
12m by 2,5m and there is toilet, cabin with
clean mattress, on upper deck you can enjoy
natural rainforest view and in the morning
you will fell the sweetest greeting from any
kind of birds and other wild animals such as
macaques, proboscis monkeys, orangutans
while you enjoy breakfast with coffee or
tea.
