Lake Toba - Bohorok tour package 4 days 3 nights
Tour package to Medan city visiting Maimoon
Palace the old Deli Kingdom and grand Mosque
of Medan, Brastagi traditional village,
beautiful viea of Lake Toba and tour by boat
to visit the Tomb of King Sidabutar and
Batak Toba village.
Itinerary of tour package:
Day 1 : Arrival in MES / Medan - Parapat
(L,D), o/nt. Niagara Hotel or Inna Parapat
Arrive at Medan Airport. Meet and greet at
the airport then start on Medan City Tour.
Visit Mai moon Palace, the palace of Old Deli
Kingdom and also the Grand Mosque of Medan.
After the visit depart for Parapat – famous
mountain and lake resort on the east shore
of the immense volcanic Lake Toba, is about
175 km from Medan. En route, first hour pass
by several small towns and then followed by
vast view of rubber, oil palm plantations,
paddy terraces, etc. Arrive in Parapat,
check in hotel.
Day 2 : Parapat - Samosir Island Tour -
Brastagi (B,L,D), o/nt. Brastagi Cottages or
similar
Cross over to Samosir, a huge lovely island
in the middle of Lake Toba, in 45-minute
ferry ride. Visit the Tomb of King Sidabutar
and Batak Toba Village at Tomok. Then to
Ambarita, a traditional village with ancient
megalithic furniture in front of the
traditional house. Depart for Berastagi via
the Ring Road of Lake Toba. En route pass by
pine tree plantation, the magnificent
scenery of Lake Toba, fertile vegetable and
fruit farms. Visit the ancient King’s Palace
of Simalungun at Pematang Purba. Proceed to
the slender Sipiso-piso Waterfall which
drops into Lake Toba from hundred of meter
height. Arrive in Berastagi, a refreshing
mountain resort dominated by two active
volcanoes. Visit the fruit market and the
traditional Batak Karo village – Peceran.
Then check in hotel.
Day 3 : Brastagi - Medan - Bohorok (B,L,D),
o/nt. Rindu Alam Hotel
After breakfast, drive north - westward to
Bohorok via Medan, to see Ora ng Utan
rehabilitation at Bukit Lawang in Bohorok
Village where Orang Utans are trained to
return to their natural habitat. En route
passing through several small towns followed
by vast view of rubber and oil palm
plantations with some countryside landscape.
The road is still bad in some places. Arrive
in Bohorok, start soft trekking to see orang
utan. First walk along the riverbank to the
crossing point and cross the river to the
Orang Utan rehabilitation center. Hike up
the hill through the rain forest to see the
activities of those illegally captured and
young orang utans which are trained to
return to their natural habitat. After the
visit, check in hotel.
Day 4 : Bohorok - Medan Airport / Dept
(B) dept flight must be after 12 pm.
Depart for Medan, the capital city of North
Sumatra via plantation road. Arrive in Medan
transferred to airport for departure. Tour
ends.
