Day 01; Pangkalan Bun – Kumai Port – Tanjung
Puting National Park
 Upon arrival in Pangkalan Bun airport, you
will be picked up by our local staff and
take you to kumai port by car for 20 minutes
and then proceed to National Park Tanjung
Puting area by Boat for 2 hours. The boat is
wooden river boat for tourist specialist.
It’s 12m by 2,5m with a roof and called by
Klotok, which forms the upper deck, you can
view the natural rainforest. We will slowly
explore the quite river by Klotok to observe
wild animals and natural environment along
the river sides. Cabin with Simple mattress,
pillow, meals, bottled mineral water,
mosquito net, kitchen and simple toilet are
available on Boat. You can choose to take
dinner and stay over night on Boat or at
Rimba Lodge.
 Day 02; Boat/Lodge – Pondok Tangguy – Camp
Leaky
After breakfast, we will travel up the river
for 2 hours boating to Camp Leaky where the
older orangutans are reintroduced into the
rainforest. Before arrive in Camp Leaky, we
will stop in Pondok Tangguy to see feeding
time at 09:00 then proceed to Camp Leaky.
After lunch on Boat you have opportunity to
take small trek before see feeding time in
Camp Leaky area at 14:00. Enjoy the river
safari when you are on way back to stay over
night on boat or at Lodge.
Day 03; Pangkalan Bun – Banjarmasin -
Surabaya to Mount Bromo
After breakfast, we will transfer you to
Kumai port by Klotok about 2 hours then take
car to Pangkalan Bun airport to catch flight
leaving for Banjarmasin/South Borneo then
take connecting flight from Banjarmasin to
Surabaya airport in East Java. Upon arrival
in Surabaya Airport then transfer you to the
small village of Cemoro Lawang in the
Tengger region. The journey takes
approximately three and a half hours, with
possible stops en route to a
leather-producing town and an Indonesian
restaurant famous for its lamb satay.
Overnight at Lava View Lodge, a unique lodge
located on the rim of the Mt. Tengger crater
with a superb view of Mt.Bromo, Mt. Batok
and Mt. Kursi. If time permits, it is
possible to walk through the countryside or
go horseback riding in the area
Day 04; Mt. Bromo Hotel – Mt. Penanjakan –
Mt. Bromo – Ijen Crater
At 4 am the 4 WD will bring you to the
world’s most famous view point at Mt.
Pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger -
caldera to see sunrise with its young
volcanic including Mt. Bromo and an active
Mt. Semeru in the back ground is
breathtaking the play light shadow with
sunrise reach Mountain succession from the
top to the bottom and the usual fog of the
caldera. Afterward the adventure be
continued to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to
visit crater until it is finished. The 4 WD
will bring you back to the lodge for
breakfast, showering, packing, loading bags
to the vehicle. At 9 am we drive trough
scenic landscape until we reach Ijen plateau
where the spend the night in the middle of
caldera and world’s famous coffee plantation
in a comfortable and charming hotel Arabica
or Catimoer (build by the Dutch colonialist
as the head quarter of the coffee plantation
around the century ago) or stay over night
in hotel Ijen Plateau area. Before dinner in
the old colonial style dinning room, a hot
bath nearby natural hot springs will be
unforgettable relaxing experience. After
dinner a briefing about the following
excursion to Ijen volcano will be given.
Day 05; Ijen Crater/Kawah Ijen – Bali or Back
to Surabaya
At 5 am we drive a short way ( paltuding )
to the start of the trail that lead up to
the active beautiful crater of Kawah Ijen
volcano ( 2 hours walking ) with its famous
blue acid lake ( actually the most acid in
the world ) and the hot partly liquid
sulphur deposit .The dumorales are so hot
that sulphur come out as green vapour. The
vapour is collected by large pipe at the
excite of which its condenses , forming red
rivulets of liquid sulphur than freeze to
solid deposit are carried to obtain huge
block of pure sulphur with primitive ,
healthy devastating method and incredibly
hard job .After observation time we leave
Ijen plateau and drive down to Banyuwangi
town then directly transfer you back to
Surabaya or Bali by crossing ferry port in
eastern tip of Java Island and the adventure
is ended.
